Rikke Schjødt

Rikke Louise Schjødt (b. 1991) is a Danish award-winning writer, director & showrunner, and an alumna of the NYU Tisch Graduate Film Program (’18). Her storytelling is characterized by a unique ability to explore humanity through a satirical lens, insisting on the coexistence of the vulnerable and the uncomfortable. In 2020 she created the popular Danish TV show LIMBOLAND, produced by Drive Studios for YouSee.

The show sparked top reviews for both seasons, sold to Norway, Sweden and Finland and won the “TV-Prisen” for best short tv show in 2021 as well as getting nominated for a “Zulu Award” for best tv show. Rikke has participated in the Eureka Series Program at the Series Mania Institute in Lille, France ('23), and the European Showrunner Program in Cologne, Germany ('24).

Currently she is developing her debut feature film which has been selected for the Torino TFL NEXT Lab ('26), as well as she is developing several other tv projects and doing commercial work with us in Copenhagen.
