Nicolás Bori
Nicolas’ journey from Buenos Aires to Berlin is a story of reinvention. After earning a business degree in the Netherlands and leaving a promising career at Google, he followed his passion for storytelling with nothing but a camera and a tent. His bold adventures, including crossing Africa from Cape Town to Cairo, produced a short film that launched his career as a travel filmmaker. With work spanning 80 countries and a feature in National Geographic, he took the leap to study commercial directing at the prestigious Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, where he won multiple awards before graduating.
Now an accomplished director, Nicolas crafts films that blend emotional resonance with technical innovation. He thrives on practical challenges, pushing the boundaries of CGI and VFX to elevate his stories. With a soft spot for projects that carry social impact, he brings creativity and heart to every frame, creating work that lingers long after the credits roll.
Recently, he won silver as New Director of 2024 at the Shots Awards.
